Boruto: Two Blue Vortex does not have a confirmed release date. A continuation of the anime is listed as Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 2, and as of 29 September 2026 it carries no premiere date, no episode count and no announced staff. If you have read that it is confirmed for October 2026, that was wrong, and this page used to say it.
The page was rebuilt on 29 September 2026 after a fact check against AniList. Everything below is limited to what is on the record.
What is confirmed
| Continuation | Listed as Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 2 |
| Release date | Not announced |
| Episode count | Not announced |
| Previous anime | Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, 293 episodes, April 2017 to 2023 |
| Manga | Two Blue Vortex is ongoing, by Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto |
Why there is so much bad information about this
The anime stopped in 2023 after 293 episodes, at the point where the manga was about to jump forward three years into the Two Blue Vortex arc. That gap has lasted long enough that speculation fills the space every few months, and invented dates get repeated until they look official. A continuation is real and acknowledged. A date is not.
What Two Blue Vortex is
Two Blue Vortex is the manga arc running after the time skip, with an older Boruto and a substantially changed situation in Konoha. It exists only as manga at the moment, so reading it is the only way to be ahead of the anime.
What we will do here
This page gets updated when the production announces a date, and not before. Our weekly anime schedule tracks everything currently airing if you want something concrete in the meantime.
