Tokyo Revengers Three Deities Arc release date
The new season begins in Japan on October 3, 2026, in the Fall 2026 season. Current listings place the broadcast in a Friday late-night slot (technically the early hours of Saturday, October 3, Japan time), which is the same kind of slot the Christmas Showdown and Tenjiku arcs used in 2023. Nearly three years will have passed since the Tenjiku arc ended in December 2023, the longest gap the anime has had.
An episode count has not been announced. The Tenjiku arc ran 13 episodes, and the Three Deities arc is substantially longer in the manga, so a two-cour run, or a split into two parts as Season 2 was, is the likely structure. We will update this page when the format is confirmed.

What the Three Deities Arc is about
The Tenjiku arc ended with Takemichi finally winning: Kisaki was gone, the Tenjiku conflict resolved, and a future in which Hina lived seemed within reach. The Three Deities arc opens by pulling that apart. Takemichi returns to the present and finds that Mikey vanished after dissolving Toman, and that the Tokyo underworld is now split three ways between the gangs that rose in its place:
- Brahman, led by Senju Kawaragi with Takeomi Akashi, Waka and Benkei behind her, the crew Takemichi ends up fighting alongside.
- Rokuhara Tandai, led by South Terano, with the Haitani brothers, Mochi and Mucho in its ranks.
- Kanto Manji Gang, Mikey’s new organisation, run day to day by Sanzu and Kakucho.
The title translates roughly as the Three Deities War: the three leaders are treated as gods of the Tokyo delinquent world, and the arc builds to a full-scale battle between them. For the anime it is the biggest set-piece the series has attempted, and it introduces Senju, South and Takeomi, who have been the most anticipated unadapted characters in the franchise for years.
How much manga is left
Ken Wakui’s Tokyo Revengers manga ran in Weekly Shonen Magazine from March 2017 until its conclusion in November 2022, ending at 278 chapters and 31 volumes. The Tenjiku arc anime finished around chapter 185, which leaves the Three Deities arc and the shorter final “Bonten” epilogue material, roughly 90 chapters in total. That is comfortably enough for a two-cour season, and it means Santen Sensou-hen is very likely the anime’s final major arc. Whether the studio adapts the manga’s divisive last chapters in the same season or holds them for a film is one of the open questions.
The English manga is published by Kodansha (Seven Seas handles print) and the full series is available digitally, so readers who want to know how the war ends before October can.

An international streaming platform for the Three Deities arc has not been confirmed yet. Streaming rights for the series have moved around: Season 1 streamed on Crunchyroll, while the Christmas Showdown and Tenjiku arcs went to Disney+ and Hulu as part of Disney’s anime push. Expect the announcement to come from the official site or the @anime_toman account closer to October; we will update this section as soon as it does.

Why this season matters
Tokyo Revengers was one of the biggest anime of 2021, and the manga sold over 70 million copies, but the anime has never had the production budget its popularity suggested, and the wait between arcs has drained some of the momentum. The Three Deities arc is the franchise’s chance to close on a high: it has the largest cast, the most fights and the final answer to the question the series has asked since episode 1, which is whether Takemichi can save Mikey as well as Hina.
