Correction, 27 October 2026. An earlier version of this page was written as though the anime were still running through 2026, with a breakdown spread “across the different cours and seasons”. It is not running. The anime finished in January 2025 and no second season has been announced. The page has been rewritten.
Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest finished on 5 January 2025 after 25 episodes. There is no second season announced, no date, and no statement from the production committee, J.C.STAFF or Hiro Mashima.
What is on the record
| The anime | 25 episodes, 7 July 2024 to 5 January 2025 |
| Studio | J.C.STAFF |
| Season 2 | Not announced |
| Release date for a season 2 | None |
| Source | The manga by Hiro Mashima and Atsuo Ueda, still running |
About the claim that a second season is confirmed
You will find pages saying a second season is confirmed for 2027, some of them naming CloverWorks as the studio. Treat that with suspicion. Season one was made by J.C.STAFF, a studio change of that size would be reported everywhere, and the claim does not appear on any official channel. No key visual, no date, no staff list.
The honest position is the dull one: the manga is still going, so there is plenty of material, and nobody has said a word about animating more of it.
